Who am I? I’m a proud father, frequent traveler, passionate creator, full-stack marketer, conference speaker, teacher, skilled webmaster, and unrelenting hustler.
I have three amazing kids and a beautiful wife. My family is the (why) behind a lot of I do. Austin, Texas is home, but I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I spend 100-200 days a year on the road. You can often find me in Texas, Florida, New York, and Europe. It’s mostly business, but I try to fit some personal travel in too.
I love to write, build websites, and produce apps. In my current role I work with a talented team of designers, marketers, and engineers to build world-class privacy and security apps.
I’ve been a digital and performance marketer since 2003. In that time I’ve launched thousands of successful campaigns, won awards, and helped businesses (both big and small) generate hundreds of millions of dollars online. I’m on the Affiliate Summit Advisory Board, and have held past positions on the Commission Junction, Yahoo, and Real Networks affiliate advisory boards.
Conference Speaker and Teacher
I’ve had the opportunity to speak at several conferences and meetups. I’ve spoken at Affiliate Summit, Search Engine Strategies, CJU, Digital River Summit, and Affiliate Manager Days. I wrote a book on affiliate marketing and have created a handful of e-learning courses to help both new and experienced publishers grow their business.
I started designing and building websites in 2000. In that time I’ve launched or help launch hundreds of websites. I don’t spend a lot of time code wrangling now, but I still enjoy publishing as time allows.
The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night. ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
This quote characterizes my general philosophy on success.
